The cuttlefish ink sauce is one of the most characteristic Sicilian sauces. Artisan product prepared by hand with extra virgin olive oil, fresh onions and diced cuttlefish.
Traditionally it is used for spaghetti, linguine or risotto.
There is an addition of tomato paste and white wine, which makes the product even tastier.
Ingredients: tomato paste, tomato pulp, cuttlefish 15%, extra virgin olive oil 9%, onion, white wine, sugar, cuttlefish ink 2%, salt, black pepper.
